Is there any correlation between frequency of sound, and its loudness. Here by 'loudness', I mean what we measure with a sound level meter in terms of dB. If this word 'loudness' is replaced with 'sound intensity', will still it be correct terminology?
No, there is no physical connection between frequency and amplitude. But a human listener will perceive a frequency dependant loudness with a maximum near 3000 Hz.

Perceived loudness is related to frequency since our hearing is said to be optimised for human voices (we are most sensitive to frequencies between 2 and 5 Khz)
Also, if you are in an enclosed space, due to the fundamental resonances found in most rooms, low frequency content will get either enhanced or diminished by the standing waves each particular place originates. These are called room modes (see links below) and can be calculated, as they must be taken into account when designing spaces for accurate music reproduction (concert halls, mixing and mastering studios etc). Intensity of peaks and dips can be up to 20dB or more so there´s quite a lot of potential acoustic distortion going on. Furnishings and materials present do greatly impact all this, so it´s not only the dimensions of the room but it´s complete design.
The perceived pitch of pure tones (sine waves) does also vary with loudness.
