Hello there,

I am trying to make a solution of Tin (II) Acetate so that I can permeate cracks with it and hopefully increase their SEM contrast.

I'm not much of a chemist at all but have read that Tin (II) Acetate should dissolve sufficiently in water. can anyone shed any light on this? Maybe adding ethanol to the solution may increase the solubility?

Thanks

Adam
