We are trying to prepare simulated gastric fluid (according to USP) and the composition is 2 gms NaCl, 3.2 gms pepsin, 7 ml con HCl and volume will be made upto 1000ml with water, final pH will be adjusted to 1.2. We have kept over night stirring for pepsin to get solubilized. But we are not getting clear solution and solution is hazy and pepsin getting settled at bottom. Please give me some suggestions to solubilize pepsin
