Hi everybody, I am currently working on virology. How do I know whether my viral sequence has a SNP or not. I went SNP database in NCBI, but found zero results. Some SNP tools like Polyphen and I-mutant, ask for rs ids or the position of the mutant residue. Viruses will have SNPs, but how do I start with the analysis, if I dont know the rs ids. suggestions plz.
