Hello dear Wissem;

Yes Silica should have both chemical and physical properties in order to meet market requests;

For glass industry: Particle size distribution (PSD); moisture and chemical composition are very important.

For foundry sand basically AFS number (GFN: grain fines number) ad ADV (acid demand value) are very important.
