Can anybody help me in using ESPript (http://espript.ibcp.fr/ESPript/ESPript/). I want to show the secondary structural elements with the aligned sequence.
When I upload alignment file in multalign/clustalW format I get aligned sequence in pdf/post script format but whenever I tried to upload DSSP/PDB format along with the aligned file I only get "fatal error".
yeah ..i agree ..Use Mozilla Firefox and Allow Pop ups .probably it will solve the problem. if not then send me the file i will do it and send it to you
One more thing! Is the sequence for the pdb file you uploaded is there in the .aln file? Not sure but i guess it would be the first or last sequence in your alignment file.

I am using google chrome and didn't get any problem in generating alignment file as postscript/Pdf
Problem is with when I try to get secondary structural elements.
I am exporting alignment file directly from 'multalign' and put my template on the top (though, I have tried it by putting at below the target sequence too) and uploaded dssp generated file/pdb from my computer/pdb from the server..but none worked :(
It had happened with me ..though i dont remember what was the problem. If its nothing confidential then send me the files .or wait for the experts to answer ..:)
Also, I have seen that example pdb file provided in ESPript help....it is different from the traditional format..do i need to change my pdb file to that format?
I attached it here..i guess there is some problem in your 1N0H sequence as when i replaced it from 1N0H sequence given in the pdb website then it solved the problem.
