Firstly, I do not believe the open access journals are always so serious and loyal in their publishing policy. As you think how many efforts are required to write an article in terms of time (to write it, correct it or manage it according to the reviewer's suggestions) and financial cost (sometimes you need to pay for getting articles your University Library does not possess,) then you must also pay to have your article published , it sounds like a sort of joke to me. Unfortunately the policy of "Publish or Perish" dominates the academic and scientific world. However, I wonder: if you have the skills to review a scientific article, why the Publishers contacting you for that task, and in that way recognizing your competencies, should not pay for them?

Review process is an honorary work.However they should be given some intensive for their review work . but if the researchers be paid for their review work , the process will be still more efficient .Publishers are giving certificate to reviewer , this is O.K.however It should be counted some where.

In my opinion, it is not necessary to be paid with money: even having a month-open access to the journals of the Editor which you have performed the review for or having the allowance to download free some articles can be a reward for a researcher..
