Yes, it is possible. Beside being a reviewer you are a researcher, so why not ?
The short answer is 'yes', it is a blind peer review process so there is no ethical conflict.
The editor should be wise enough to spot that your role is now as author, and not ask you to be a reviewer!
The advantage to you is that you know beforehand the criteria for acceptance, and you can therefore ensure beforehand that your paper complies with the requirements of the journal.
Yes and probably the assistant editor may submit a manuscript to the same journal working in it with others. The thing is if a good system run in the journal there is no problem to submit. A reviewer is temporary job that probably you have nothing to review for several months! A reviewer is like consultant come and go. So submit your manuscript and good luck

Yes you can, reviewing articles for a journal does not exclude your further contribution as an author because of the blind process. Moreover, by reviewing and following up the acceptance/rebuttal process of the articles you reviewed you learn perfectly which are the standards of that journal, much better than just reading the aims of the journal and the author guidelines.

Yes. One's status of being a reviewer of a journal won't restrict him/her to submit manuscripts for the same journal. Certainly, the editor shall send the paper to an appropriate person.
Yes, of course they should. There is no question of conflict if a solid peer review system is in place, and if the editor is as impartial as they should be.
