Hospitals and the various clinical practice settings have historically encountered disasters. While many eventually survive in the aftermath of a disaster or crisis some do not and still others struggle to return to their historical baseline operation. Nevertheless, disaster or crisis preparedness (also described as business continuity) content as a specific course is, in my experience, not a typical course offering in these programs. Do you have a different experience or different opinion? Regardless, should the topic be offered t the undergrad, graduate, or both levels? If not, why?
Thanks for your input.
