Dear all,

i try figure out how to transform a set of pelvic bones segmented from CT in that way that not only the shape of bone, but also the structural density field is properly transformed in order to be able to compare bone shape difference. I could build the bone shape template and match the shapes according to some metric, but is it feasible to do that for the scalar field of structural density of bone?

PS: The main goal is to get normalized scalar fields of structural density of individual bones and attempt to estimate a stochastic process that describes the spatial variability of bone density.

Thanks,

Petr
