If you put in a score, you can create a rank.. But the real question is why, what is the purpose? Ranked data have less information as the difference in rank does not fully inform on the size of the difference, unless perfectly uniform distribution; unlikely with your index, I would have thought - positive skew. So why do you want to throw away hard-won information ?
