Here are the steps you can follow to export a chart from Sigma Plot to MS Word:

You should now be able to open the exported chart in MS Word. Once the chart is in MS Word, you can edit it as needed. Keep in mind that the editing options in MS Word may be limited, depending on the complexity of the chart and the version of MS Word you are using.

Alternatively, you can copy the chart from Sigma plot and paste it to MS word by using the Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V respectively. But, this way the chart will be pasted as an image, which may not be editable.

It's best not to edit in Word. Make it perfect first in the original mother program :)

I wouldn't depend on any MS product for any purpose. It's a miracle that Windows OS is still working.
