I am working on a review article that aims to comprehensively explore the current and emerging strategies used for mosquito control. The focus will include integrated vector management (IVM), the use of synthetic and botanical insecticides, biological control agents such as Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis (BTi), pheromone and attractant traps, sterile insect techniques (SIT), Wolbachia-based methods, gene drives, and community-level interventions. This review will discuss the mechanisms, advantages, drawbacks, and implementation challenges of each strategy, offering a balanced and up-to-date perspective on sustainable mosquito management.
I am looking for collaborators who have published at least two peer-reviewed articles in this field and are interested in contributing to the writing and development of this manuscript. If you're actively working in vector biology, mosquito ecology, or control policy and would like to be a part of this collaborative effort, please reach out. The goal is to submit the review to a reputable journal.
Looking forward to connecting with interested researchers.
