i believe that bottom up approaches in mitigation are more easy to realize as they fell into the hands of those that needed most or want to help those that needed most. if a bottom up approach is opportunistic and desirable to the local level can someone prescribe useful bottom up approaches for mitigating climate change?
Community Based Adaptation and Mitigation Approach would be the best approach to mitigate climate change. Similarly, Ecosystem-based Adaptation is the use of biodiversity and ecosystem services as part of an overall adaptation strategy, to help people and ecosystems as well as adapt to the adverse effects of climate change. It analyzes the linkages between ecosystems, communities, and climate change adaptation and offers nature-based adaptation solutions to reduce vulnerability of human beings.
