Dear Wolfgang, my point is not on h-index and the world is beauty because each has a personal mind. Clearly there is a direct relationship, but my point of discussion is related to the distribution of citations.

I agree with you Prof. D'Adamo it could be so. But in some cases an article received more citations if its contribute basically in that topic or discipline. In that case, It serve as a bedrock to other research and hence must received voluminous citations, which will lead to the concentration.

The number of the citation has a higher impact. And most other metric related to it.

Citations in the Scopus has very good Impact on the performance of the researcher as far as the creditability is concerned.This gives an idea about quality of the research work.
