Could Optisystem simulate SBS in ring resonator? i did not find any resonator component in optisystem. So i have two options:
1. Co-simulate using Resonator script in Matlab or
2. Design all project in Matlab
Could anyone help regarding this?

Hello Fabrice, there is no such inbuilt component like ring resonator in OptiSystem. What you can do is use a selective filter to filter out a specific wavelength that you want to flow in the ring then you can use loop control component where you can add optical fiber with the minimum calculated length that will generate SBS phenomenon. Hope this will help you.
P.S.: This is not exactly the ring resonator that you want , as you cant see the variation in wavelength and power by varying ring radius and distance. Still this could be the effective way to generate SBS. Also, You can optimize various components by using matlab.
