Has anyone ever used Ωnyx for SEM ? Is the tool easy to use and recognised by journals in the same way as AMOS or R? Can we work from SPSS or Jamovi databases?
Onyx has not been updated for awhile.
I used to use Onyx just to extract code generated, and then use that as a backbone and make modification to run in lavaan or openmx in R.
I personally prefer openmx over lavaan.
If you have a funding to purchase AMOS, I would encourage you to consider Mplus. It is the king of SEM, and widely recognized by journals.
Thanks for your answer
