Are there any reasons why Staphylococcus aureus more resistant against salt, if it's compared to Bacillus subtilis? and why Bacillus subtilis not growing well under salt effect?
Hi Ahmad, your right the resistance to salt is there for both of them, however as Bacillus subtilis is a spore former where germination is inhibited with salt, it is more likely to be in its spore state and will not reproduce to grow.
