One of my colleagues submitted a paper to IEEE sponsored conference and the paper got accepted. The colleague is a student and before the submission of the camera ready paper, he was going to register under registration for student category, which is the general practice. However it has been informed that it is not possible to allow to present the paper at the conference for the student registration. The amount for the student registration also around 500USD. If he needs to present the paper, it is a must to register under full registration category, which is around 850USD. Is it possible, not to allow to present a paper for the student category registration according to the IEEE rules?
