Is there any specific study or figures regarding Rotator Cuff Injury of unaffected shoulder in Hemiplegic patients who are using Rotunda for transfers during rehab?
That's very interesting ...but it is certainly very useful local audit topic . I would consider doing this audit on my unit. There is significant association of soft tissue shoulder problems in hemiplegic patients who are transferred by standing hoist or rotunda however it needs more detailed evaluation .
Specific figures or studies are unlikely due to variation in modes of transfers across various units. If you come across any figures then please let me also know.
