I'm trying to quantify amorphous phases using Rietveld refinement internal standard method for my geopolymers samples but I'm trying firstly to validate the strategy by a mixtures of 3 phases corundum(standard), quartz and silica gel (amorphous), I use highscore plus software, I read many documents about Rietveld algorithm and highscore plus help and some strategy who does not work on it . could you please suggest a strategy of refinement for amorphous quantification?
I had also a problem during refining the humb was fitted by large peaks of a crystalline phase!
