Washing hands, Masks and Social distancing are the only preventive methods known against coronavirus and we have to follow these protocols till mid 2021 at least. The problem is we need to return back to our lives and deal with daily commute and crowded transports.

Since, now it has been declared to be air-borne, what kind of masks are going to help?

We know that N95 is the best, but the mask should not be reused more than thrice even if we decontaminate it using bleach spray, or sunlight exposure. Problem is its cost. Can an average person deal with it for another 365 days.

The cheaper alternative is surgical mask, which should be disposed after each use. So, again comes the question of cost. Can it be reused if we wash with soap and disinfectant liquids and then sun-dried?

The cloth brands like Peter England, Louis Phillippe, etc are now preparing fabric masks with a melt blown fabric layer, which are washable and reused upto 30 days. But are they safe?
