For each type of waste based on carbon content or biobased material we need to follow suitable flow diagram to respond to a specific feed stock. Kindly state raw material for biofuel production.
As you have stated that you intend to develop an economical biofuel plant for rural areas. The question rises is what is the biofuel you intend to produce? whether it is liquid biofuel or gaseous biofuel which is biochemical or themochemical.
If it is liquid biofuel then there is biodiesel, bioethanol, biobutanol, biooil.
If it is gaseous then biogas enrichment to biomethane, syngas production via gasification, biogas to methane to biohydrogen.

In fact I am agree with Mr. Chinnusamy Vijayanand, it is totally depend on type of waste and nature of the lignocellulose . in addition, the key parameter would be the type of organism can finish up he suitable substrate. Biofuel and gas-oil even fine chemicals all depend on the carbon source and individual organism to do the job for final product.
