The textbook 'Plant Pathology' 5th ed by Agrios offers lots of information on fungi and obviously plant pathogens as well in general. The edition is a bit old now but most of the background and species specific information is still good. Its mostly the current methodologies/genomics etc that is outdated.
it's not my field, I study tropical macrofungi and I am a teacher and director of courses to train mycologists only in macrofungi
