I am starting this discussion so I could get some ideas and suggestions about artificial intelligence. Machine learning has been taken to new heights by what machines can compute and learn. A recent example is the increased accuracy of retinal examination and prediction of early death by google based software.
There may be several such use cases within medicine, which could be used to improve the diagnosis and treatment accuracy. Doctors and other healthcare professionals can be augmented and will be able to help more patients if we can develop these use case models at a research level.
I would really appreciate if all of you could think of some of these use case models within your respective areas and put them here for further discussion.

Machine learning is rule which gives us output response or predictions under the action of input or training data. Consequently, those physical real world or realizable real world that can be transformed to approximate mathematical models over which we can perform mathematical operations, computations, visualization etc. We can guaranty for such objects to be working under the principles of machine learning. That is we can convey our messages, guidance, information, instructions etc., via step by step procedures (Algorithms) for calculations, computations visualizations and other computer vision tasks (e.g., classification, clustering, object detection,tracking and segmentation etc.,) to happen with target outputs.

Image processing is another area of machine learning which is being used for detection of causes of problems based on the MRI or X ray results.
Also, as already mentioned by Dr. Ali, lot to be done in this area.
