Hi all,

I am trying to compute a minimum required sample for conjoint experiment where every participant sees each attribute combination represented in a profile. I am planning for four to five attributes that can be represented binarily, so 2x2x2x2(x2) = 16(32) profiles.

Unfortunately, all sample size calculations refer to choice-based conjoint experiments that have participants select one favourite out of a set of profiles.

Any idea for an actual formula for this type of conjoint experiment that includes targeted standard errors and such?

I am familiar with this threat and related sources but find them insufficient

Thanks in advance!
