Article Monte Carlo simulation of electron beams generated by a 12 M...

Dear Iaccarino,

Hello,

I'm a PhD student at Isfahan University. I am doing simulation on the ّIOERT system for my thesis. I read your highly valued article as " Monte Carlo simulation of electron beams generated by a 12 MeV dedicated mobile IORT accelerator". Because my simulation is done with EGSnrc code(EGSnrc++) I need to have a full source profile, including:

The source-library: isotropic point source, collimated point source, beam source, angular, parallel,...(/home/.../EGSnrc/HEN_HOUSE/egs++/sources)

Source shape: I think the shape is ellipse, but its size?

Type of spectrum: /home/.../EGSnrc/HEN_HOUSE/spectra

a monoenergetic spectrum,a Gaussian spectrum,a double-Gaussian spectrum,a uniform spectrum and a tabulated spectrum.a radionuclide spectrum.

I know U used ISOURC=19, FWHM=1mm, mean angular spread=0, but I don’t know how to apply these information in the EGSnrc code(via script)

Any help from you is much appreciated.

Thanks a lot.

Regards
