Thus I am reclassifying my landcover map to reduce the misclassified pixels as described in the link above. everything has gone on well, but after the final reclassification, the count in the attribute table is not changing, so the area calculations still remains the same as the input map . please how do I get the count to be updated in the reclassified map. thank you colleages

Basically, In the tool dialog, the Classify or Unique options in the Reclassification parameter allows you to generate a remap table based on the values of the input raster. The Classify option opens a dialog and allow you to specify a method from one of the Data classification methods and number of classes.
