Actually i'm simulating a problem in comsol and when doing so after a time when i look at convergence plot i can see that the Reciprocal of step size is not changing and its stabilized on 10000 and it wont change however the solution is converged But is this reliable and i can count on results ?

what do you mean for this plot? What is exactly the variable you are plotting in time?

this behaviour can be seen for different reasons. I suppose, you have defined a maximum time step in your solver setting node and hence comsol is forced to use it. Just check your solver settings! In the case that comsol is not forced to take this time step and the used time step in the solver is based on numerical and physical effects, I would say, that the results should be reliable, of course by assuming that you have defined proper physics and mesh.

Yes i checked the solver setting and I saw that i had changed the solver setting so it was using this time step to solve the equation. thank you for your help.
