Recently, through social media i came across several issues of article retraction. Where, blots were even duplicated, FACS results were duplicated, blots were manipulated and so on....

What are your opinions for the reasons responsible for such incidence?

1. Publication pressure that is forcing students to manipulate data

2. Negligence of PI, that are not even bothering to review manuscripts before submission or are not reviewing so thoroughly

3. Weak review process of the journals, through which such things escape while article processing and trapped after several years of publications

4. Three of them...

Please share your views, comments...or more reasons responsible for retraction...

Regards
