Greetings everyone,

I recently encountered a really weired situation and couldnt really figure out why.

Im doing a reaction involving using epoxide to neutralize unwanted acidity of the original reactant. Sometimes it turned out to be a clear liquid after the process (which is desired), but sometimes the reactant became hazed.

Initially I suspected that I might over use the EO so that some EO actually dissolved into my product that caused the haze. However, I tried to strip the final product using strong vaccum and it did not come back as clear liquid.

This seems to be a random event, as sometimes it came out hazed while sometimes it did not.

So im like really confused right now.

Any help to provent this from happening is much appreciated!
