I have an experiment set up where the device under test DUT requires DC power supply. But the output of the device needs to be connected to an oscilloscope. I am apprehensive about damaging any of the devices especially the oscilloscope. Here's my interpretation of the connection where the common ground would be established for all the three main devices.

To summarize:

The banana plugs coming from the power supply has ground.

The device pad has a ground connection that will be probes by a probe card connected to the ground wire.

The oscilloscope has a BNC connector that has coaxial cable connected to it, with a regular wire connection (red and black) that also has a ground connection.

My plan is to connect all the common grounds. Is there some chance of back reflections or any other potential issues that I need to be aware of?
