Dear researchers,
I have been working on the preparation of a triacid mixture in the ratio HNO3: H2O2: HCL: 150:125:5 ml. I start the mixture by adding a little volume (5 ml) of H2O2 to HNO3; however soon after the pouring of H2O2 into the HNO3 solution, sudden reaction occurs where the mixture develops color and releases dense fumes. However, within 1-2 minutes, the mixture again becomes colorless. My query is that if the mixture can be used for further analyses even if the mixture developed color initially?
Thanking you in anticipation!
Regards
Priyanka
