I am looking for expert recommendations on qualitative analysis software. I have been engaging in more mixed-method work recently and I need reliable qualitative analysis software. Any recommendations? Is there one software more likely to be respected/published than another? Are they all created relatively equal?

I believe nVivo is currently ahead of ATLAS.ti. The machine learning algorithms in nVivo version 1.0 (bizarrely named, but launched in March 2020) are actually not that bad! But both are respected.
If you are doing transcribing that requires attention to the way the words are produced (which obviously strongly participates to constructing their meaning in much cases) I'd recommend transcribing first with Infinity USB foot pedals and Express scribe professional; and then if you want to add more detail, you might try using Transana. The quality of transcription—capturing aspects of the interactive ensemble of the vocal and non-vocal conduct that actually produces the social activity is in my view an important part of what makes qualitative research scientific.
There are many of them, and this question periodically arises here... I you search a little carefully, you will find interesting answers to questions similar to yours. In any case, Atlas.ti and nVivo are two of the most widely used.
As for the "respectability". From, my point of view, what has no be respected is not the software, but the use that you make of it... Software is just a tool!
Nvivo is not that difficult and can do a lot of stuff for your qualitative data. I am not sure about respectability. I suggest go for the one that you can use effectively.
As Antonio M. Oller-Marcén says, versions of this questions have been asked here several times, and the predicable result is what you have already seen so far: various people give statements telling you what their personal favorite program is.
That will not help you much, so instead you should take the time to examine the tutorials that each of the major software makers provide with regard to mixed methods. ATLAS.ti, Dedoose, MAXQDA, and NVivo all offer very similar features, but they implement them in different ways, so choose the one that you find to be easiest to use.
I have been using NVivo 12 plus for quite some time. I would recommend to use this is as it has multiple functionality benefits over other softwares used for qualitative analysis.
