Redundant publication and repeated methodology?
I performed animal model treated by particular drugs to study certain metabolic pathway parameters.
Later, after submission, I repeated the same experiment with same drug and methodology to check a different metabolic pathway.
Now, after submission of the second manuscript, the first one has been rejected by reviewer and I was going to resubmit to another journal.
Hence, both manuscripts share the repeated methodology, have some similarity in the routine results and going to be submitted in two different journals.
Is this considered duplicate or redundant publication? How should I act?
There's no text similarities. I do paraphrase experiment methods.
Thanks,
