Hi,

I'm puryfing glycans from glycoproteins for HPLC (HILIC mode) analysis. After dialysis, glycan release with PNGase F, ethanol precipitation and centrifugation; my next step is to use the SpeedVac to remove ethanol from the glycans.

Temperature of the Vac is at 60°C and usually the process lasts 2-3 hours. The result is a jelly-like transparent pellet, which rather seems jelly than solid. Is this normal for pure glycans ?

The last time I used this for HPLC analysis, the peaks were very low to non-existent.

Thanks
