je voudrais savoir s'il y'a lieu à faire les épi-tests aux produits cytostatiques chez le personnel de soins le manipulant et qui se plaint d'allergies suite à l'exposition à ces produits ?

Dear Sir,

You may choose 4-5 weeks old BALB/C mice of either gender for the imiquimod induced psoriasis. Symptoms of psoriasis induced by imiquimod mimic the human plaque psoriasis. For psoriasis induction, shave 10% dorsum area of mice skin using depilatory cream/ hair clipper. Symptoms of psoriasis can be induced by the topical application of 50 mg of imiquimod cream once daily for 11 days. After application of imiquimod cream, you will observe the marked redness (after 1-2 days) on mice skin followed by the gradually increasing erythema (after 3 days) along with the presence of white silvery red scale scales in a later phase (after day 5 or 6).

For the scoring of the severity of psoriatic lesions, you can choose the clinical Psoriasis Area and Severity Index (PASI) scoring system developed (see the attached article, Sun et al., 2013). After the induction, you can start the treatment by test drug formulations continuing the topical application of 50 mg of imiquimod cream once daily throughout the treatment phase.

Thanks Amit... I have already standardized psoriasis in Balb/c animal model. Hence for cytokine standardization is was  very difficult to replicate the results we obtained in PASI. That,s why i needed 'protocol (Dilution factor for ELISA) for skin homogenization.

I have not yet performed the cytokine estimation for skin samples obtained from the diseased animals so I am unable to share the protocol. I am planning to conduct the cytokine estimation in sequential studies. I will be in touch with you.
