Can anyone please suggest me review articles/papers/books/links on understanding protein-lipid interactions through Molecular Dynamics simulation ? Thanks
The lipid-protein interactions are pivotal for various biological processes (from the folding and stability of membrane proteins to signaling and metabolism). Prof. Kleinschmidt edited a book namely Lipid-Protein Interactions Methods and Protocols (https://link.springer.com/book/10.1007/978-1-62703-275-9) that provides a broad idea about lipid-protein interactions.
Hi Roshan, I must say it is really a big area of present day research. There are a number of papers since 1972 (http://science.sciencemag.org/content/175/4023/720.long) when the fluid mosaic model was proposed by Singer & Nicolson. I am attaching some of them for your convenience. For simulation from lipid-protein system I would like to refer you the publications of Prof. Michael L. Klein (https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=56ar4-cAAAAJ), especially, (http://www.pnas.org/content/101/13/4431.full)
