There are many successful organisations do not really follow pmbok, prince2, six sigma and etc practices to manage their projects. Do you think following those methodologies/practices really will reduce the risk of project failures? For some people, those will only increase the use of resources and increase the complexity of the projects. What is your say on this and real examples will be appreciated.
