Agricultural production has a limit. Everybody is busy demanding more from scientists and farmers. Illusion of self sufficiency being created by the Governments across political parties. Nobody talks of a new Australia being added every year. We Indians are reproducing ruthlessly. No technology will work. Despair awaits. Population will kill. Mind!
Hopefully, the world population slows down its growth rate. We can see that more developed cities are facing downtrend in this, and in fact, for some they are tackling ageing population problem. As economy further develops, perhaps there will be less growth in some other countries too. Guess there is so much a person can eat … thus, the importance of numbers in world population. We do also hope that rich people do not simply waste food ...
