Which etchant is suitable to reveal the oxide grain boundaries present in a thermally grown Alumina (Al2O3) oxide scale over the Metal substrate?

I want to know the suitable etchant required to reveal the Aluminum oxide grain boundaries.

The etchant used for this work is prepared from mixture of Hydroflouric acid and Ammonium biflouride solution with ratio 1:1.
