We observe a very high adsorption of my protein to the SW/SWXL column from Tosoh. To avoid this, they recommend 4 successive injections of 100 µg BSA to condition the resin. However, we need up to 20 injections before the column properly conditioned. In this regard I have several questions:

1) Are there other materials available for conditioning purposes?

2) Does anybody have experience with blue dextran and if yes, which concentrations/loads should we use?

Thank you in advance for your comments.
