I am confused about positive and negative electrode in supercapacitor cell. I want to make it clear. In symmetric supercapacitor cell, If I use H2SO4 as electrolyte, hydrogen ions insert/desert to the negative electrode and sulfate ions insert/desert to positive electrode. I mean that positive hydrogen ions are attracted by negative electrode and positive sulfate ions are attracted by positive electrode. Could you please let me know whether I am thinking correctly?
Its anode and cathode, for anionic doping (oxidation) you have run 0 to 1 V for cationic doping (Reduction) 0 to - 1 V. Different type of capacitor
(1) Symmetrical capacitor :- Both P-doping, both n- doping and p-n doping electrodes
(2) Assymmetrical capacitor:- Both P-doped electrodes or different material.
(3) Hybrid capacitor:- P-doped electrode (Positive) and activated carbon act as
negative electrode.

The process in super-cap isn't necessarily involved in ion insertion, but rather ion electrosotption (adsorption by electrostatic forces) .

You are correct. In supercapacitors with solely electric double layer capacitance, cations are attracted into the negative electrode (negatrode, BUT NOT anode), and anions into the positive electrode (positrode, BUT NOT cathode). See the following links for more information about positrode and negatrode in rechargeable batteries and different types of supercapacitors. Basically, the terms of anode and cathode should have not been used to describe electrodes in rechargeable devices, although these are unfortunately used in many publications.
