Lecturer in Real Estate Investment and Finance

Location: Ankara University Tandoğan Campus, Ankara.

Hours Per week: Full Time

We are looking for an outstanding candidate to teach and undertake research in Real Estate Investment and Finance Analysis as we continue expanding our real estate undergraduate and graduates’ programmes. This new position will complement with our existing areas of teaching and the candidate should take a lead on developing and expanding new research areas focused on real estate finance, mortgage and project financing, securitizations, capital market relations, commercial real estates and urban development projects analysis, project appraisal and investment analysis particularly in an international context. Initially, candidate will be appointed to a fixed-term contract and it is expected to become permanent position in the future.

Lecturer in Facility Management

Location: Ankara University Tandoğan Campus, Ankara.

We are currently expanding our research and teaching activities and the expected candidate should have a good record of research accomplishment and publication in the area of real estate management and should contribute in enhancing our current researches. The candidate should have teaching experience in higher education in the field of facilities and resources management, property management and asset management theory and practices, standards, and related institutions. Initially, candidate will be appointed to a fixed-term contract and it is expected to become permanent position in the future.

Lecturer in Land Economics and Urban Land Economics

We are currently expanding our research and teaching activities and the expected candidate should have a good record of research accomplishment and publication in the area of land economics, urban land economics as well as land management in urban areas. The candidate should have teaching experience in higher education in the field of spatial economics, planning practices and economic fundamentals, property development and economic basis, land economics theories and practices. Initially, candidate will be appointed to a fixed-term contract and it is expected to become permanent position in the future.

Lecturer in Land Management

We are currently expanding our research and teaching activities and the potential candidate should have a good record of research accomplishment and publication in the area of land management, both in urban and rural land markets, land consolidation and rural or regional development, sustainability and land use, land use planning, land degradation and desertification, sustainable land management policies. The candidate should have teaching experience in higher education in the field of land economics, land use planning practices, land administration as well as land economic fundaments, rural and regional development and economic basis, land consolidation, combating with land problems and design sustainable land management practices in rural area. Initially, candidate will be appointed to a fixed-term contract and it is expected to become permanent position in the future.

All applicants must have a PhD at least, a very good level of reading, writing and speaking in English and must accept to learn Turkish language within a year. Currently program language is Turkish. In the following next two years, English programs are planned to be opened at the department.
