Has anyone had experience in growing P. gingavalis in BHI agar plates?
There’s an unusual amount of water condensation inside the plate after 4 days of incubation in an anaerobic chamber, and there is no growth of PG at all.
p.s. we put the plate agar-side down correctly during the incubation period.
Will the plate streaking without Parafilm let the water evaporate?

The condensation is most likely due to using wet plates and having them sealed with parafilm. If you did not use parafilm then you would likely have less condensation, but that might not be optimal for your strain. Alternatively you could dry the plates for an additional day or two before using them to minimize the amount of condensation that is generated.
It grew after ten days, but usually, it takes five days. We are trying without parafilm. Thanks, Yuan Yue
