I am wondering if the porous media coefficients will change if the working fluid changes.
I have a tubular, U-shaped heat exchanger geometry where the working fluid is air. This model has been tested (experiments) in detail earlier, and its porous media coefficients have been estimated (for the ease of CFD simulation).
Now I need to use the same heat exchanger geometry (for CFD, Ansys Fluent), but the working fluid is replaced with water.
Can I use the above porous coefficients for water? Kindly make your replies (with some reference, if possible).

Porous medium coefficients are numbers that further describe or quantify the nature of the porosity under consideration.
You may start the simulation with the porous coefficients of air for water. Then, study the dynamics. That is why it is called simulation.
Please, show us the porous coefficients of air.
Thank you all for the answers. I am currently performing the calculations with water as the working fluid. I believe that the porous media coefficients are properties of the medium. It will be helpful if anyone can support it with some references.
