Have been analysing a dataset looking at hormone levels during different capture approaches, using all collected data (dubbed here as pooled) have found statistical differences between approaches (one-way ANOVA) as one would expect.  However, when analysing using a two way ANOVA accounting for capture approach and time there is no difference in capture approach but only across time.  This appears to be contradictory - is there a simple explanation for this or am I missing something....
