I am making a polyurethan film using a ceramic mold and after maturation at 110 Celsius it’s hard for me to strip it off from the ceramic mold. Any chemicals that I should add?
1. Try to cast your polyurethaen film on teflon mold if it is available, as the adhesion of polyurethane is poor on teflon surface.
2. If the Teflon mold is not available you can try by heat exchange method. I mean after removing the ceramic plate from temperature, keet the plate on ice immidietly, you should be able to remove the film as the polyurethane and ceramic will be having different heat transfer rate.
Kindly update your results if you try these methods.
