I need 5 cm OD (2 inch actually) tubing to do multiple things at once:
A) insulate with temperature gradient of 120 C in less than 10 cm along the tube.
B) withstand stress of atmosphere inside and vacuum outside at MINUS 100 C.
I am finding conflicting info when comparing many web sites. Many suggest that working temperature of polycarbonate is around -40C while that of acrylic is around -170 C.
I am currently using G-10 (FR-4) thin pipe made by rolling thin sheet to several layers with epoxy, but the epoxy attachment is non-uniform and I always have vacuum leaks.
