Polarity inside the cancer cells is comparable to which solvent?

I'm investing some phenomenon that occur in non polar solvent such a toluene and n-hexane but absent in polar solvents such as DCM and water. I want to test the phenomenon in the cancer cells. I want to know what is the polarity inside the cancer cells (HeLa).
